An Expectation of Comfort

An EXPECTATION of COMFORT

In times of deepest woe Believers are often seen as Comforters or a source of comfort. We look to each other for Solace and in most cases find that reserve of consolation and comfort that would otherwise be far off. While the Believer may have an understanding of this Divine Attribute; it’s the Unbeliever that seems to garner most form the intervening support coming from the Believer. This is so, because the Believer is looked upon with an Expectation of Comfort. The indwelling presence of The Divine Comforter; changes and re-arranges the lives of Believers, enabling them to endure loss, sufferings, trials, tribulations and all manner of distress. Giving them enduring strength and Spiritual understanding of the natural. Even the vilest of Sinners are able to see the Strength of the Lord operating in the Children of God and they know that in times of deepest woe they can draw on that Strength. When the rest of the world are at their weakest, Believers should be at their strongest, to fulfill this expectation of comfort for both the saved and the unsaved.

God is the source of all Comfort; in tribulations, trials, grief, pain and all distresses. That  Believers may be sources of comfort to all sets them apart as Agents of the Divine. To comfort others by the same comfort with which they are comforted of God. As the sufferings of Christ remains in us so it is that our Comfort remains by Christ (2 Corinthians 1: 3-6). There is an expectation of comfort to be had from each of us even in times of our deepest woes. We must be ready always to be that source of comfort for even our greatest enemies. Isn’t it true Beloved: that when you are at your weakest that you find the Power of God to be strongest? The greater your loss, the more severe your pain and the emptier your store room, is the closer you draw to the comforter. Leaning on the everlasting arm of perfect Strength; knowing that your help comes only from the Lord. He expects you to lean on Him, so expect others to lean on you, servant of the LORD.  You may be the conduit to the place of Rest for a labored and heavy laden Soul. Let Him use you today to comfort the weary soul that is waiting for that word of encouragement, that embrace or that listening ear that they know is provided in you. You are An Expectation of Comfort to all.

God Bless you always.
