DYING to LIVE

Death is a fearful, formidable and inevitable enemy that all must face. It brings fear, dread and much agony to the strongest, bravest, richest, wealthiest and most powerful people; and to the least of us all. It seems a necessary evil that we all must face. It is the product of one man’s action and the transforming agent in the Life to Life process of many. We all live to die and die to live again. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. It is an instrument of transformation that is necessary in the continuance of Life. A seed sown must die and in the process give birth to new life and a new plant. Without Life there would be no death and without death there would be no resurrection and without the resurrection of the dead, there would be no Life Everlasting. This is the Believers hope of an inheritance that awaits those who awake to righteousness. You die in corruption and are raised in incorruption; you die in dishonor and are raised in glory; you die a natural body and are raised a spiritual body. The first man Adam was made a living soul and the last Adam ( Christ ) was made a quickening spirit. (Christ the man came as a Living Soul and Christ the resurrected a Quickening Spirit). The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.  As we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly; for flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. We must be changed. This corruptible Being must put on incorruption and this mortal Man must put on immortality. When this Corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this Mortal shall have put on immortality; then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory”. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But the gift of God is Eternal Life. Thanks, be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Death has no power over the Children of God.  Be strong and be very courageous in this life, facing death without fear when that time comes; knowing that it is to your benefit. Know that He who created you in His Image and after His Likeness and made you joint Heirs with Christ; has a better place prepared for your eternal dwelling. He has reserved the best you for the transformed you. So, on that day when Death comes knocking; know that he is just announcing the arrival of the BEST YOU. For, you are now living for the day, when you will be DYING TO LIVE.                                                                    

Therefore, my beloved brethren; you be steadfast, un-moveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1Corinthians 15). Have faith in God. Live your life without fear of the most that man can do to you. It cannot be compared to the least of what the Father has reserved for you.
