GOD FIRST
The story is told of a very bright Seminarian who was having his final examination in preparation for graduation. The test required him to put the following in order of priority in his life. Children, Wife, God, Self and Others.
He considered this a very short, simple and easy test, so he went ahead and completed it in record time and handed in is paper. He felt he had done very well on this test. He soon got his marks and it was an F. Disappointment and anger was what he felt when he saw the marks, but he thought this was either a joke or that the professor had made a huge mistake.
He soon brought this gross mistake to the attention of the professor, requesting that it be corrected. The professor refused to make any change in the score and flatly told him that he failed. He asked how? Seeing that he had them in the proper order of priority as follows:
1 God
2 Wife
3 Children
4 Others
5 Self.
The professor agreed with the lay out, but pointed out that after placing God at the top he then left him out of everything else that was important in his life. As a matter of fact he did not include God in his life at all. The professor showed him that it must always be:
1 God
2 God and Wife
3 God and Children
4 God and Others
5 God and self.
God must be first in all things at all times. For to leave God out is planning for failure. God must lead in all aspects of our lives.
Love you.
Be Blessed.
