CAN MAN BE JUST WITH GOD?
If we would challenge Him, we could not answer Him one word out of thousands of His questions. He is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who is he that has opposed Him and has prospered? He removes the mountains, overturning them in His anger and we know not. He shakes the earth and when the pillars thereof tremble; we are consumed by earthquakes and tsunamis. He commands the sun and it rise not. He seals up the stars and none can break their bands. He sends rain, snow, wind and ice and none can quench them. It is He alone who spreads out the heavens and walks upon the waves of the sea. It is He alone who made the constellations of Arcturus, Orion, Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. He does great things past finding out; and wonders without number. He goes by and we see Him not: He passes on but we perceive Him not. Behold: He takes away and none can hinder Him. Who will say unto Him: What are you doing? If He will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under Him. How much less shall we answer Him choosing our words to reason with Him; whom: though I am righteous, yet would I not answer. I would rather make supplication to my God and my judge; for if I call, and He answers me; yet will I not believe that He has responded to my voice. He breaks me with a tempest and multiplies my wounds without cause. He will not suffer me to take my breath, but fills me with bitterness. I am an instrument of His glory. If I speak of strength, behold: He is strong. If I speak of judgment, who is he that shall set me a time to plead my cause before Him? If I should justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me and if I say I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse. Though I am perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life. He is not a man as I am that I should answer Him and that we should come together in judgment. There is no man to stand between and lay his hands upon my shoulder and the shoulder of The Lord. He is the Lord God Omnipotent: full of power and might: full of grace and mercies, a God of love and compassion; the God of truth and justice; holy and righteous in all His ways; the God of all creation. He will not cast away a perfect man; neither will he help the evil doers; until He fills the mouth of His children with laughing and their lips with rejoicing. They who hate God’s children shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nothing; an hypocrite shall not come before Him. God destroys both the perfect and the wicked; but I will maintain mine ways before Him. Though He slays me, yet will I trust in Him; for I know: He is my SALVATION. Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out. Who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been His counselor, or who has first given to Him and it shall be recompensed unto him again? Of Him, for Him, by Him, through Him and to him are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen. CAN MAN BE JUST WITH GOD? (Taken from Job: 8, 9, 13 & Romans: 11).
