"GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT."

 Ephesians 4:30

It is easy for people to disagree and offend each other. A wife may disagree with her husband and a husband may disagree with a wife. They may disagree and offend each other bringing about such grief; even to a fatal breach in the marriage contract and to the disannulment of the marriage. Children may bring grief to parents and parents to children. Friends sometimes bring grief to friends and employer and employee may bring grief to each other. To this extent we can be separated from each other, divorce each other, hate each other, reject and abandon each other or otherwise just avoid each other and continue to live an apparent normal and productive life. There is however; one from whom we cannot be separated. With Him there is no divorce; there is no avoidance and life will not be normal without Him. He is one whose relationship with us, we are not at liberty to bring to an end. It is impossible for the chosen brides of King Jesus to separate themselves from Him and or divorced Him and bring the relationship with the indwelling Holy Spirit to an end. The believer will suffer the consequences of his act; for: “that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes” (Luke 12:47); but the love relationship must go on. There is no separation in this Father and son, husband and wife relationship. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39). We live according to God in the spirit. The Spirit bears witness to all truth and everything that comes to God’s children must come through the channel of the Spirit and all that goes out to the Father goes by the Spirit. The Spirit provides the transference of power to the Believer, comforts, teaches, guides and refreshes even to the believers memory. It is by the Spirit that God works in you oh believer to will and to do of His good pleasure. “Know you not that you are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). Without the Spirit you can do nothing. It is the Spirit who intercedes for you; thou branch of the Vine. You can bear no fruit without the sap; you have no life but the life which God gives you through His Spirit. Considering that: “your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and that you are not your own” (1 Corinthians 6:19); provoke not the Spirit to anger by continuing in sin. Be ready always to obey His every prompting. Quench not the Spirit. Engage in no enterprise without first engaging the Spirit of Truth. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:11-12). The Holy Spirit is your master Controller, your Life Line to the Abundant Life; your: BOSOM BUDDY in this life.  GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.
