How much does GOD Love you?

 Gift of Love

Are you overwhelmed by all the problems in the world today; or by your own problems?

Well, you are not alone. All of us are affected by what is happening in the world, but can do nothing about it. Great efforts have been made to change things for the better, but things have only gotten worse. The cause of all this is SIN. The Bible tells us that in the beginning God created a perfect world where everything was good (Genesis 1 & 2). There was no disease, sickness, fear, stress, disaster, death or anything bad. However the first man Adam disobeyed God and his disobedience brought Sin into the world. God hates Sin. Because of Adam's sin, God cursed the whole earth, pronounced a life of sorrow on Adam and condemned him to death (Genesis 3). Adam's sin and the curse have been passed down to all mankind, through all generations. As a result we were all born sinners under the same curse as Adam. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3: 23). Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men. For that all have sinned (Romans 5: 12) and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6: 23).  There is a void in our lives which we cannot fill. The Soul of man is therefore restless, with a sense of emptiness, unfulfilled desires and hopelessness, always searching for the better life, trying desperately to fill this void. What we really need is reconciliation with God.

God sees us unsuccessfully trying to fill this void in our lives; with money, sex, friends, power, success, other material things and other worldly pleasures. Only God can fill this void by reconciling us unto Himself. All our efforts are in vain; as sin has separated us from our Creator. Separated from God we cannot find true Love, Joy, Happiness, Peace and Rest. These are the benefits of those in the Kingdom of God. To enter into the Kingdom of God; we must be born again, spiritually. Except a man is born again he cannot enter into the kingdom of God (John 3: 3). Since we are born with a penalty of death (Torment in the Everlasting lake of Fire) on us; we must be saved from this penalty of death. We cannot save ourselves. Only by God's Grace and Mercy can we be saved (Ephesians 2: 8). Everyone must give an account of himself to God (Romans 14: 12). It is appointed unto men once to die and after this, the judgment (Hebrews 9: 27). At God's judgment the unsaved will be condemned to death; that is to spend eternity in Hell (The Everlasting Lake of Fire) (Revelation 21: 8). The Saved will not see death. Instead the Saved will have everlasting life. How then can we be saved?

The Gift of Love

Here is GOOD NEWS. In the Bible, the book of John tells us that: "God so loved the world that He gave His only son that who-so-ever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3: 16). Christ died for us (1 Peter 3: 18); paying the penalty for all the sins of those who come to Him: (1) believing that He is the Son of God; sent by God the father to be Savior of the world. (2) Humbling them-selves, asking for forgiveness and repenting of their sins. God made Jesus to be sin for us that in Him we might be made the righteousness of God and no longer be alienated by our sins (2 Corinthians 5: 21).

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to God, but by Jesus Christ (John 14: 6). Neither can anyone come to Jesus Christ unless God draws them (John 6: 44). God has been drawing us to Christ by His word. However we resist and disobey always wanting to have our own way. Until we stop resisting and disobeying, and yield to God; we cannot experience the depth of His love. Everyone who hears the word of Jesus Christ and believe on God who sent Him, has everlasting life and will not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life (John 5: 24). God puts his Word in our hearts for us to obey them and do what He commands us (Deuteronomy 30:11 -14 and Romans 10: 4 - 11).  Jesus is The Gift of Love to mankind.  While we are still in sin and condemned to death Christ died for us that we may pass from death to everlasting life. The gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6: 23). God Loves You.

Seek the Lord today while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near (Isaiah 55: 6 & 7); for now is the acceptable time, now is the day of Salvation (2 Corinthians 6: 2). He will not turn you away if you come seeking Him.

Believe: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 4: 2 - 12 and 16: 31).

Repent: (Be sorry for your sins and turn from them).Except you repent you shall surely perish (Luke 13: 3).

Confess: Confess your sins to Jesus Christ the only mediator between God and man (1Timothy 2: 5). Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus (Confess Jesus to others), believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you shall be saved (Romans 10: 9).

Trust: Trust God to keep you secured; knowing that in Him you are saved, sanctified and preserved unto Life Eternal; and will not fall back into living a sinful life (Jude 3:1). Jesus Christ gives us the assurance that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13: 5). That He will be with us always, even to the end of the world (Matthew 28: 20). Read the Bible daily. God wants you to come to Him today and serve Him. Accept God's Gift of Love and He will do the rest.

Choose you this day who you shall serve.  As for me and my house; we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24: 14 - 15). For the Scripture says; who ever believe on Him shall not be ashamed (Romans 10: 11). O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
